Comfort in the heart of the Sahara
Our luxury camp is designed for travellers who want the magic of the desert without giving up comfort. Each tent is large and private, with real beds, quality linen, warm blankets, Berber carpets and your own ensuite bathroom with hot shower.
You arrive the traditional way – on a camel at sunset, or by 4×4 if you prefer. After a welcome mint tea, dinner is served in the restaurant tent or under the stars: Moroccan salads, a slow-cooked tagine, couscous and fresh fruit. Later, our team plays Berber drums around the campfire.
In the morning, climb the dune behind the camp for sunrise, then enjoy a generous breakfast before heading back to Merzouga or continuing your journey.

- Meeting point: our office or hotel in Merzouga, where you can park your car – the exact location is sent with your booking confirmation
- Best arrival time: 3–5 pm for the sunset camel ride
- Check-in from 4 pm – around 6 pm in the hot summer months

- Nights are cold from November to March – warm blankets provided
- Online booking closes 6 hours before arrival
- Quads, buggies and 4x4 trips can be added in the booking form

Meet us in Merzouga village. From there you reach the camp by camel (about 1.5 hours, at sunset) or by 4×4 (about 20 minutes). We send exact directions after booking.
We recommend arriving in Merzouga between 3 and 5 pm to ride to the camp for sunset. Online booking closes 6 hours before arrival – for last-minute stays, message us on WhatsApp.
Your private tent, camel ride or 4×4 transfer, dinner, breakfast, sandboarding and traditional music around the fire.
The camp has lighting, and mobile coverage in the dunes is usually good. Ask us if you need to charge equipment – we are happy to help.

Luxury tent prices in Canadian dollars
A luxury tent costs C$104 per person per night – C$207 for two sharing – including the camel ride or 4×4 transfer, dinner and breakfast. Prefer something simpler? Our standard camp starts at C$59. Prices in Canadian dollars are approximate – the 15% deposit is charged in euros by PayPal and the rest is paid at the camp.

Getting to camp
Fly nonstop from Montreal or Toronto to Casablanca, then connect to Marrakech or Fes. Merzouga is 7–8 hours by road from Fes and 9–10 from Marrakech; we can arrange your transfer.
Canadian passports
No visa needed for stays of up to 90 days. A passport with 6 months’ validity is recommended.
Paying for your stay
Prices in C$ are a guide; the 15% deposit is charged in euros by PayPal and the rest is paid in Merzouga. C$1 ≈ 6.9 MAD.
When Canadian guests come
March break, Canadian Thanksgiving in October and the winter-sun months of January to March are popular with Canadian guests.
What to pack
If you come for winter sun, pack a warm layer: desert nights can be near freezing in January. Bring a plug adapter (Type C/E, 220V); check your devices are dual-voltage.

After a snowy Canadian winter, a heated luxury tent with a proper bed is the most comfortable way to see the Sahara.
