STANDARD desert camp

Our Merzouga standard desert camps are located in the breathtaking Erg Chebbi dunes. There are private tents at the camp that have been traditionally furnished and are equipped with beds, blankets, and other supplies for your comfort.

Solar energy is used in the evenings to supply electricity to the entire camp, and the staff is made up of fun-loving, sincere experts who know how to keep things running as smoothly as they can in the desert. 

Given that it is totally managed by a Berber staff made up of locals, this is a rare opportunity to visit a scenic site while still experiencing the Sahara Desert culture.

During our special night under the stars, you will see the beautiful colors of the sunset and sunrise, and enjoy a delicious dinner with local drumming music around the campfire.

While you are at the camp, you’ll have the option to book a camel ride for sunset and sunrise, or other activities around the desert including quad biking, Sahara trekking, sand boarding, and 4×4 desert tours.
