Paying from Europe
Standard tents start at €40 and luxury tents at €70 per person per night. You pay a 15% deposit by PayPal and the rest at the camp. Still deciding? Read our guest reviews.
Travelling to Merzouga from Europe
Coming from Europe? Here’s how to reach the dunes and what to know before your night in the Sahara.
Getting to camp
Fly direct to Marrakech or Fes from most European cities, or Paris Orly to Errachidia with Transavia. Merzouga is 7–8 hours by road from Fes and 9–10 from Marrakech; we can arrange your transfer.
EU passports
EU citizens need no visa for stays of up to 90 days. Travel on a passport, not a national ID card, ideally with 6 months’ validity.
Paying for your stay
Our prices are in euros, so there’s no exchange to worry about. The 15% deposit is charged by PayPal and the rest is paid in Merzouga. €1 ≈ 10.95 MAD.
When European guests come
Easter, the May bridge holidays, the autumn break and Christmas are busy weeks. July and August are very hot in the desert.
What to pack
Desert nights from December to February can drop near freezing, so pack a warm layer. European two-pin plugs fit Moroccan sockets, so no adapter is needed.
Booking from Europe
Send us your flight and arrival airport: Marrakech, Fes or Errachidia. We’ll match your pick-up to your arrival time.
