Fly one-stop via Dubai, Doha or Istanbul to Casablanca or Marrakech. Merzouga is 7–8 hours by road from Fes and 9–10 from Marrakech; we can arrange your transfer.
Australian passports
No visa needed for stays of up to 90 days. A passport with 6 months’ validity is recommended.

When Australian guests come
Seasons are reversed: your autumn (April–May) and spring (September–October) match the best desert weather. July, your winter, is the hottest time in the Sahara.
What to pack
Desert nights in December to February (your summer) can be close to freezing, so pack a warm layer. Bring a plug adapter: Australian Type I plugs don’t fit Moroccan Type C/E sockets.
Booking from Australia
Send us your flight details via Dubai, Doha or Istanbul. We’ll time your pick-up in Marrakech, Fes or Errachidia around your arrival.
