Why book with a local Moroccan agency?
Local agencies know Morocco from the inside. They arrange private tours, craft workshops, family visits, desert camps and guides who speak your language, and they solve problems quickly if plans change.
For European travellers, booking locally often means better value and more flexibility than a package holiday. Several agencies work in French, Spanish, Italian or Portuguese, and a good one plans the route around your flights to Marrakech, Fes or Casablanca – whether you want a luxury holiday, a mountain trek, a family trip or a short desert break.
- In-depth local knowledge

Travelling to Merzouga from Europe
Planning this tour from Europe? Here are the flights, entry rules and timing that matter.
Flights for this tour
Fly direct to Marrakech or Fes from most European cities, or Paris Orly to Errachidia with Transavia. Flights take about 1–2 hours from Spain, 3 from France and Belgium, and 3.5–4 from Germany and the Netherlands.
Entry for European travellers
EU citizens need no visa for stays of up to 90 days. Travel on a passport, not a national ID card, ideally with 6 months’ validity.
Paying for your tour
Our prices are in euros, so there’s no exchange to worry about. The 10% deposit is charged by PayPal and the rest is paid in Merzouga. €1 ≈ 10.95 MAD.
Best months to travel
Easter, the May bridge holidays, the autumn break and Christmas are busy weeks. July and August are very hot in the desert.
Time and plugs
Morocco shares Central European time in winter and is one hour behind in summer. European two-pin plugs fit Moroccan sockets, so no adapter is needed.
Booking safely from Europe
Pay deposits by card or PayPal, get your itinerary in writing and read recent Google reviews.
