Travelling to Merzouga from Ireland
Planning this tour from Ireland? Here are the flights, entry rules and timing that matter.
Flights for this tour
Fly direct from Dublin to Marrakech with Ryanair or Aer Lingus in about 3 hours 40 minutes. There’s no direct Ireland–Fes route, so Marrakech is the usual gateway.
Entry for Irish travellers
No visa needed for stays of up to 90 days. Carry a passport with at least 6 months’ validity to be safe.
Paying for your tour
Our prices are in euros, so there’s no exchange to worry about. The 15% deposit is charged by PayPal and the rest is paid in Merzouga. €1 ≈ 10.95 MAD.
Best months to travel
February mid-term, Easter and the Halloween mid-term are our busiest weeks for Irish guests. Spring and autumn bring the best weather.
Time and plugs
Morocco is on Irish time in summer and one hour ahead in winter. Bring an adapter: Irish Type G plugs don’t fit Moroccan sockets.
Ending in Fes
There’s no direct Fes–Ireland route, so plan to fly home via Marrakech, London or a Spanish hub.
